Big time news out of the Canuck camp today – Vancouver have resigned the Super Swedish Sedin Twins to identical four-year, $28 million dollar deals. This will tie them to the organization through to the 2017-18 season where at that point they will be 37 years old.
These two players have been the corner stone of the team for 13 years now together and it doesn’t look like the Canucks are done with these two yet.
Both Henrik and Daniel are putting up big numbers so far this campaign with Daniel sitting on 6-9-15 +6 and his brother Henrik 3-15-18 +9. Together they are second in the league in pts with a combined total of 33 pts in just 15 games. Top two player scoring in the league currently is Sidney Crosby and Chris Kunitz (who is having a career year so far) with a combined total of 34 pts in 13 games.
Do you think the pair of Sedins are worth the money? Let me know your thoughts on this.
